Yes, most definitely there are elements of teacher inquiry that will be beneficial to continue. A focused, continuous reflection on your own teaching practices is essential for growth. As well, teacher inquiry has shown us the importance of collaboration in our work force. There has to be a willingness to step out of your comfort zone to further your teaching practice and the results of doing this in an inquiry-based research project can be remarkable.
Was the project successful? Did you achieve your intended goals?
Yes, we feel that our project was very successful in determining the impact of the flipped classroom model on student motivation and, also, parent attitudes towards this teaching and learning model. Student motivation increased in all classes involved in the project and parent response to the flipped classroom model was positive.
